Cassandra Lee "Sissie" Shimmel, 37, passed away at home November 27, 2021.  She was the loving daughter of the late Robert L. Shimmel and Mary Shimmel, step daughter to Randal Barbour.

     Sissie was born in York, Pa on June 30, 1984.  She enjoyed working on her wooden puzzles and loved  flowers.  Her favorite stuffed animals brought her so much joy.  She loved food, especially hot dogs, banana pancakes, bananas and grapes.  She will be deeply missed by her family.

     Sissie leaves to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, Mary and step father, Randal, one sister, Kasey Shimmel; and two brothers, Robert Shimmel, Jr. and William Shimmel.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Shimmel, Sr. and her Mam and Pap, Dolores and Glenn Ellis.

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held in June 2022.
