Clair Donald Sawmiller “Donny”, 80, entered into rest on November 15, 2021 at his home. Born on February 17, 1941 in York to the late Clair A. Sawmiller and Mary C. Portner. Donny was a lifetime member at the North American Hunting Club. 

     He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Rebecca Fredrick, Bethann Senft, William “Billy” Sawmiller, Mary Danner, Andrew Sawmiller, Colby Howard and Tracey Dougherty; sisters, Sandy Heffner, Joan Dahr and Beverly Robinson; brothers, Pastor Tommy Sawmiller and Ray Sawmiller; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Dana Sawmiller.

     A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at

2 p.m. at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Please meet inside the gates of Susquehanna Memorial Gardens at 1:45 p.m.
