Harry R. Wolfe
August 18, 1931 - December 12, 2021
Harry "Bob" R. Wolfe, 90, entered into Heaven on December 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Beulah E. (Snyder) Wolfe, whom he shared 64 years with before her passing in 2018.
Born on August 18, 1931 in Stewartstown to the late Margaret (Bowman) and John Wolfe. He graduated from New Freedom High School in 1949. Harry honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army, and went on to work for the State Department. After the state department he and his family decided to purchase their farm in 1967. As well as farming he was a truck driver. Later retiring from Marty's express.
Bob was a member of the Red Lion VFW. He also enjoyed golfing, mowing his yard, gardening and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an original starter at Bowling Green Speedway in 1950 and went on to race at other local tracks till 1960, #44.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Robert "Bobby" Wolfe and Randy A. Wolfe and wife Denise; daughter, Susie Wolfe and wife Tammy; sister, Lydia Manifold; grandchildren, Randy C. Wolfe and wife Nancy, Chanse Wolfe and wife Tara, and Doug Wolfe and companion Bri Connaghan; great-grandchilren, Allie, Eli, and Noah Wolfe; his beloved rescue pup, Molly; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
