Linda L. Markle, 72, entered into the arms of the Lord on April 13, 2021 surrounded by her family. Born on February 1, 1949 in York to the late Mary (Rouscher) and George Markle. Linda belonged to many different clubs, such as the Gerord Club, Eagles Club and the Republican Club. 

       Linda leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Carol Markle, Tina Dubbs and Mary Reyes; sisters, Mary Hoskin, Nancy Lilly and Joan Markle; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded by her siblings, Charles Markle, Barbara Shaffer, Cordella Hoslin, Richard Markle, George Markle, Jack Markle, and Ruth Collier.

      A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 E. Market St, York with Pastor Charles Lindeman officiating. A viewing will be held before the service from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
