Barbara Casey-Gilbert was born in New York City on Nov. 27, 1945 and lived a full life until her passing on March 22, 2022.
Barbara moved to Pennsylvania in the early 1980s and lived in Dover. She later moved to West York and quickly became a respected member of the community. She was fiercely loyal to her children and closest friends and quick to offer sound advice if needed. Barbara is survived by her husband Tony and her children Shalon (wife Cindy), Jody, Auprica, Damian and Antonia. Barbara was also blessed to have at least 20 grandchildren and a handful of great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on March 31, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 E. Market St, York. A viewing will be held prior from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Hoover Cemetery.
