Barry S. Smith, Sr., 71, of York, passed away December 21, 2024. He was the spouse of Carla M. (Witmer) Smith. Born July 27, 1953, in York, Pa, he was the son of the late William and Aramatha Smith.
Barry was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. He loved old movies, watching TV and listening to music. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Barry leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife, children, Victoria, Michelle, Mary Barry Jr. and William; grandchildren, Kayla, Brianna, Robert and Barry III; siblings Rick, William, Jeff and Mike; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie and Lou Ann.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street, York, Pa 17403. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ricky McCarl officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Rose Cemetery.
