Beverly M. Washington, 70, passed away February 18, 2026. She was the wife of the late Ulysee "Bubba" Washington. Born in York, PA on December 1, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mary (Harris) Johnson, Sr.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, children, Kali Layer and husband Travis Layer, Valentino Henderson, Sr., Keith Henderson, Jr. and wife Christi Henderson and bonus son, Chad Washington; grandchildren, Aleksondrick Padgett I, Valentino Henderson II, Veaja Henderson, Vakai Henderson, Lexus Padgett, bonus grandson, Myin Lewis and bonus granddaughters, Azaira Washington, Alaia Washington and Aja Washington; great grandchildren, Valerian Mack and Lilith Henderson; siblings, Barbara Williams, Anita Sullivan, Leeroy Johnson, Hazel Sneed, Joyce McClendon and William Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Aleksandria Padgett; siblings, Gloria Lenard, Andrew Stansberry and Lynwood Stansberry.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. The visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The service will begin at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kali Layer at 2952 Milky Way Dover, PA 17315.
