Bruce Edward Lehman, 62, passed away peacefully at home December 27, 2025. Born September 11, 1963 in Uniontown, PA, he was the son of Betty Lehman and the late Mervin Lehman.
Bruce was married to his beloved wife Karen for 41 years and he loved his family so much. He dedicated 25 years to the Pennsylvania State Police where he retired as a Corporal. He attended Zion Bible Church in York and served as an Elder in the church. He loved worshipping and serving God. Bruce will be remembered for the simple joys he cherished and the deep love he had for those around him. He found peace in gardening, took pride in hunting, and often relaxed on his back patio swing, enjoying quiet moments outdoors. Above all else, Bruce loved spending time with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren, whose lives he touched with his steady presence, kindness, and gentle humor. His faith was central to who he was, and his church family held a special place in his heart. Bruce’s life was defined by love, faith, and devotion to family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bruce leaves behind many to cherish his memory, including his wife, Karen Lehman; his mother, Betty Lehman; brothers, David Lehman, Scott Lehman, and William Lehman; sisters, Robin Mcknight, and Jamie Lehman; children, Bruce Lehman, Jr. and partner Nicole Axe, Cassie Lehman, Katie Capp and husband Chris; grandchildren, Emma Mego, Mason Strickler, Dallas Strickler, and Jack Lehman. He was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Lehman; his brother, Donald Lehman; and his sister, Gail Radosevich.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Zion Bible Church, 1550 N. East Street, York, PA 17406 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the service starting at 11:00 a.m.
