Connie M. Lentz, born on July 28, 1949, was called home on March 3, 2024, at the age of 74. As a devoted mother, friend, and animal lover she touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was employed for over 28 years by York International Corporation and about 10 years with Gladfelter Insurance until she retired in 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Blanche Carbaugh and Byers Carbaugh of York and son Scott Witman of Pittsburgh. She leaves behind a younger brother, Thomas Carbaugh, and family of Dallastown and two nieces and their families Tonna Carbaugh-Dieter and her husband Eric of Lancaster, Rachael Carbaugh and her husband Patrick of York, and one niece Destiny Carbaugh of Dallastown. Additionally, she leaves behind her loving friends. In later years she enjoyed lunches with friends, scrapbooking, and her beloved cats. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York Pa. A visitation will be held prior from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
