David "Dave" M. Thomas, 59, entered into rest on March 3, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Robin A. (Lake) Thomas.
Born on July 10, 1964, in Columbia, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert L. and A. Beverly (Moody) Thomas.
Dave worked as a machine operator for Arconic Mill Products.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Yankees, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Nascar. Dave will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor. He loved spending time outside in his yard with family and grilling. He enjoyed eating crabs with his father-in-law Dean. He will be truly missed by his brother-in-law Dean.
Dave leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Robin A. Thomas; children, Matthew Barninger and wife Brit, Brystal Thomas, and companion, Tyler Thomas; siblings, Deb Smith, Charles Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Jeffrey Shaub; grandchildren, Laken, Leland, Knoxon, and Jacob; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his favorite and best mother-in-law, Dee.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd, Red Lion, Pa. Pastor Steve Schmuck will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider making memorial contributions to the York SPCA or Hospice and Community Care.
