Holding a Flower

David Alan Pirritano, affectionately called "Dad, Pops, Poppy and Big Al", passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, May 10th, 2024. With his passing, David gave the gift of life by donating his organs.
David was a military veteran who was a great father, loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed any time spent with family. He taught the lesson of hard work and doing things the right way, not the easy way. He loved and enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, music, working on cars and history. He loved his job at Bonnie Plants and working in landscaping.
"The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have. Our ability to handle life's challenges is a measure of our strength of character. The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation. -Corrie Ten Boom"
David is survived by his fathers, Mario Pirritano and Frank Forni. His children, Aimee Finnigan (Marty), Candace Pirritano, Brandon Pirritano, Elizabeth Ricks (Ben) and Morgan Pirritano; his grandchildren, Gracie Finnigan, Elli Pirritano, Eden Pirritano, Charlie Pirritano, Saxson Ricks, Bellamy Ricks, Slater Ricks, Greyleigh Pogue and Riverleigh Wainwright; and his brothers Mark Pirritano and Christopher Pirritano.
