David C. White, 77, of Spring Grove, PA, passed away on June 30, 2026. He was born on July 28, 1948, in Cameron, NC.
David was a quiet and compassionate soul who dedicated much of his life to caring for others. He was a caretaker of many, always offering support and kindness without seeking recognition or the limelight. He lived his life with humility, generosity, and a steady presence that touched those around him.


David spent many years working at the Pentagon, where he contributed his skills and experience while also taking pride in lifting up the next generation. He was known for his curiosity and love of learning, especially when it came to technology. Whether exploring the latest electronic gadgets, working with computers, or discovering new innovations, David embraced the changing world around him.
An avid tennis player and spectator, David enjoyed both participating in the sport and following the game. He also loved to travel and found joy in exploring anywhere life took him.


David was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Elliott; grandparents, Purnell “Parkay” and Annie Morrison; brother Dexter White; and cousin Grover MacDonald.
He is survived by his loving partner, Harold W. Lessner Jr.; sister, Deborah White;stepfather, Robert Elliott; nephews Terrell Elliott (wife Keisha), Travis Williams, and DeShawn Malone; nieces Shaniquewa Downes and Tiasia Threadgill; loving caretakers Amy and Mich Gibson; and extended family Michelle, Jordan, Harold, and Beth Lessner.
David’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him. Though he lived quietly, his kindness, care, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Interment will be private in Cameron, NC.
