Holding a Flower

Debra Wakeling Etter born on July 20th, 1958 passed away on Thursday, January 4th 2024 in the comfort of her daughter Lisa's home. Cancer was the only battle she didn't conquer, but she put up one heck of a fight!
Deb leaves behind brothers Stanley (Pat), Donald (Karen), Kenneth (Jennifer) Bruce (Tina). Her husband now deceased John "Butch" Etter and her parents Donald & Mary Rita Wakeling.
Her daughter Lisa Enders Yank and husband Joseph Yank, a bonus daughter Amanda Griffin, and her sister also known as her partner in crime Deb Stoner.
Her grandkids endearingly called her Noni, Jackxtyn, Sean, Daivyone, Qnija, Cameron, and many more.
Miss Deb had a special gift for children, during her time spent at Alexander Goode School she touched alot of little hearts and minds teaching them how to garden, care for the fish pond, getting to and from school, being the head of The Goode Greenhouse, and so much more. She was an advocate in her community helping with the school, volunteering at Chrystal's Place, working with the Nena 4H club serving on the Northeast Neighborhood Association Board, and more.
Deb was never "still" she always kept herself busy and her "busy" was helping people. She had a way of telling it like it is, but you knew and always felt her love. Keep her family and Goode kids in your thoughts and prayers as her absence will be felt deeply throughout her community.
