Dorothy R. (Blouse) Kling, 63, entered into rest on August 17, 2023, at her home. She was the loving wife of John A. Kling.
Born on July 9, 1960, in York, she was the daughter of the late Albert L. Sr and Catherine (Strausbaugh) Blouse.
Dorothy had a green thumb and loved to spend time in her garden. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Dorothy especially loved spending time with her family and friends and decorating for the holidays. She also enjoyed drinking a cold Budweiser.
In addition to her husband, John, Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Catherine Blouse; grandchildren, Nate Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, and Idanis Laurenao; siblings, Gregory Blouse and Beverly Blouse; beloved dog, Bruno; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Albert Blouse, Jr., Randy Blouse, and Ronald Blouse.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. Pastor Ricky McCarl will be officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
