Edward M. Strickler Sr. 59 of York entered into rest on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was the son of the late Lamar E. and Helen G. Goheen of York. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Ariyanna G. Goff and three sisters Mildred Brown, Leona Burns, and Deborah Bond. He is survived by his daughter Amber Strickler of Thomasville and two sons Edward Strickler Jr. of Thomasville and Daniel Strickler of York along with his grandchildren Jerrell and Izabella Goff both of Thomasville and Taylor, Ella and Lucas Strickler of York. He also leaves sisters Debra Crowell, Connie Broome, and Cindy Covey all of York, and brothers Lamar Goheen Jr. of York, William Strickler of Dover, and Donald Strickler of Spring Grove along with a slew of nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Edward loved most of all was his grandchildren and NASCAR. He fought a long hard battle with Cancer before his passing. There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later time.
