Frank B. Bruckhart III, 74, passed away February 20, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marian L. Bruckhart. Born in Dauphin County, PA on May 24, 1951, he was the son of the late Frank B. Bruckhart II and Thelma (Harden) Freed.

Frank loved nature and being outdoors. You could always find him outside doing yard work, cutting firewood and playing with his dogs. He enjoyed taking hikes, kayaking and feeding the deer. He also enjoyed watching football.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife Marian, children, Melissa Bruckhart, Michael Bruckhart, Shane Steck and Steve Steck, Jr.; grandchildren, Mason, Colt, Caleb, Adia, Chassidie, Destiny, Maia, Alannah, and Shawn; great grandchildren, Micaiah and Michael; sister, Linda E. Kyle; and his beloved dogs, Milo and Gunner. He was preceded in death by brother, James Bruckhart.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street, York, PA 17403. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky McCarl officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Emanuel Cemetery.
