Gay L. Kornbau, 77, entered into rest on February 27, 2023, at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Victor J. Kornbau whom she shared 55 years with.
Born on August 28, 1945, in York, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Maeble Aughenbaugh.
Gay worked at York Hospital for 35 years as a medical secretary.
In addition to her husband, Victor, Gay leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Brian J. Kornbau and Darrel M. Kornbau; grandchildren, Mason, Catlyn and Chelsea; and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 12 noon at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York Pa. Pastor Ricky McCarl will be officiating. A viewing will be held prior from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
