George L. Clark, 87, passed away January 31, 2025. He was the long time companion of Emma Witmer. Born on September 30, 1937 in York, Pa, he was the son of the late George S. Clark and Dorothy W. Aubel.
George was a member of the Shiloh Legion, Hawks Club and Garagemens Association. He will be deeply missed by his family.
George leaves to cherish his memory in addition to his companion, Emma, children, Georgia Berger, Denise Burke (Daniel), Mary Beth Bortner (Marty) and Parrish Clark (Angie); 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and brother, Robert Clark. He was preceded in death by siblings, Barbara Pines and Dennis Clark.
A visitation will be held on February 11, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc., 822 E. Market Street York, Pa 17403. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
