Gordon R. Spangler, Jr., 77, passed away August 23, 2026. Born on April 15, 1949 in Mount Wolf, PA, he was the son of the late Gordon R. and Norma Spangler, Sr.

Gordon retired from Harley Davidson. He was a member of Madison Avenue Church of
the Brethren. Gordon was also a member of Shiloh Legion, Hawks Club, 12th Ward and West Manchester VFW.

Gordon leaves to cherish his memory, children, Dawn Spangler and Gordon Spangler III and wife Dana; mother of his children, Mary Spangler; grandchildren, Austin Spangler and Jordan Spangler; great granddaughter, Chelsea Williams; siblings, Joyce Spangler, Timothy Spangler, Lutricia Mohr and Barb Hartinger. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert Brenneman, Aaron Spangler, Keith Spangler, Dennis Spangler and Delores Burger.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held September 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren, 645 Madison Avenue York, Pa. A visitation will follow the service.
