Jack H. Lewis passed away July 24, 2024 at York Hospital. Was born June 27, 1952 in York. He leaves to cherish is memory, his son, Robert Lewis of York and daughter Christy Lewis of Rising Sun, MD; step daughters, Nicole Vancleave and husband James, Rebecca King and husband Kyle; grand-daughters, Payton and Camilla; grandsons, Carter, Gavin, Luke, Ethan and Miles; sisters, Lisa Haugh and husband Jim, Darla Kohler and husband Adam, and many close family and friends. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his significant other Stephanie Runkle; his mother Harriet Miller and her husband George Miller Jr.; brother, Phillip Lewis Jr.; sister Cheryl Brown, and Crus Lewis.
Mr. Lewis worked at HJ Williams, Spring Garden Twp HWY Dept, and Columbia Gas of PA. He was a member of Girard AA. Jack enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing softball,  and drag racing. Previously, Jack had a beach getaway in Pine Haven, DE where he spent many summers with Stephanie. He was a big fan of the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, and Penn State, even when his teams stunk!
Mr. Lewis was a well known member of the local collector car community and owned many street rods and muscle cars during his lifetime.
A celebration of life gathering will be held, date will be determined at a later time.
In lieu or flowers, the family is requesting that contributions be made to the York County SPCA.
