James C. Weire, 86, passed away on October 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Brenda Weire and was preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn L. Taylor Weire.

Born in York, Pennsylvania, on November 11, 1939, James was the son of the late Claire and Anna Weire.

James was a man of deep faith, strong values, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. A longtime member of Mountain Grove Chapel, he served as a board member for many years. His faith was an important part of his life and helped shape the values by which he lived: honesty, kindness, hard work, and respect for others.

A successful entrepreneur and hardworking business owner, James was the founder of F&S Transportation, Inc dedicating more than 50 years to serving his community. In 1986, he expanded his business endeavors by opening Manchester Hardware and Auto Parts Store in Manchester, Pennsylvania. James believed in the value of hard work and took great pride in building businesses that served others and provided for his family. His accomplishments were not measured only by what he built, but also by the relationships he formed, the people he helped, and the example he set. The businesses he established and the values he stood for remain an enduring part of his legacy.

Above all his accomplishments, James's greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured the time he spent with those he loved. He especially enjoyed woodworking, a reflection of the patience, skill, and care he brought to everything he did.
James will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his faith, his generosity, and his commitment to treating others with kindness and respect. His life was a testament to the belief that a meaningful legacy is built not only through hard work and achievement, but also through love, integrity, and the lives we touch along the way.
