John Michael Wire, 74, passed away December 9, 2025. Born in York, PA on July 9, 1951, he was the son of the late Walter Wire and Betty Hoskin.

John enjoyed being prompt and doing chores. He was always cleaning and organizing. John liked to go to the sprint car races with his brother Tommy and loved playing softball in his younger years.

John leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Thomas Hoskin, Stewie Seiple, Patricia Cutler, Bonnie Boyer and Daniel Wire; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby, Patrick Wire and Breda Euken.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. The visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky McCarl officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
