Joseph "Lee" Posey, 84, passed away February 4, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Warner) Posey with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born on October 9, 1940 in York, he was the son of the late Albert L. Posey and Julia M. (Garner) Shank.
Lee was a graduate of Red Lion High School. He was employed at Harley Davidson as a tool and dye maker for 40 years. Lee enjoyed fixing things; he could fix anything that was broken. He loved spending time working on his father's nearby farm. He loved going to his Franklin County farm and to his cabin in Potter County. Lee also enjoyed spending his winters in his home in Palmetto, FL where he would ride all over the place on his bicycle visiting friends and neighbors. Lee instilled much knowledge on his children and grandchildren.
He was very much loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Lee leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife, Bonnie, children, Troy L. Posey (wife, Jen) and Trina M. (Posey) Campbell (husband, Chuck); grandchildren, Tanner Frey (soon to be wife, Destiny Moskowitz) Ali Hevner (husband ,Jared), Sam Posey (wife ,Riley) and Austin Frey; step grandchildren, Kelsey and Carly Campbell; great grandchild, Bo Hevner; sister in law, Monica Posey; special niece, Shari Flory (husband, Jim). He was preceded in death by infant son, Shawn; siblings, Wayne Posey, Trudy Frey and her husband Luther Frey.
Burial will be private. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
