Joseph A. Amig, Sr., 65, entered into rest on May 23, 2022 at his home. Born on January 29, 1957 in York to the late Shirley Jane Amig.
Joseph worked at York Corrugating Co. as a foreman for over 35 years. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Celtics. He enjoyed going fishing in his free time. Joseph will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will forever be in their hearts and memories.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Joy Westry and husband Gerald and Amy Amig; son, Joseph Amig, Jr and wife Tara; grandchildren, Alexis, Elexandria, Laphyrre, Justin, Taylor, Eboney, Patrick and Jaedyn; nine great-grandchildren; aunt, Josie Ambrose; and a host of cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson.
