Kathleen W. (Wade) Snyder, 76, entered into rest on July 18, 2023 at UPMC Memorial. She was the loving wife of Dale E. Snyder whom she shared 37 years with.
Born on February 27, 1947 in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Sr and Edith (Reynolds) Wade.
During her early adult years, Kathleen was the owner/operator of Wise’s Restaurant in Manchester, PA. After many years of service to the public, she was able to spend the second chapter of her life devoted to her grandchildren.
Kathleen had an undeniable zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Whether it was creating memorable moments with her family, pursuing her passions, or lending a helping hand to those in need, she approached every endeavor with boundless love and dedication. Her passion for creating beautiful environments extended beyond her gardens to many home interiors. She had a creative flair for decorating and remodeling which enriched the living spaces of many people.
In addition to her husband, Dale, Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Brenda Jo Wise and wife, Beth A. Spangler, Christina Wise Iati and husband, Frank R. Iati and Jodie Lynn Hamilton; a son, Travis Bryan Snyder and wife, Amanda L.L. Fontenot; a brother, Stanley A. Wade; grandchildren, Mikayla I. Spataro and husband, Anthony A. Spataro, Patrick R. Hoke and Miles C. Iati; one great granddaughter; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William E. Wade, Jr and Jeffrey C. Wade.
Services will be held privately.
