Maria Milagros Santiago-Hernandez, 69, passed away August 3, 2025. She was the wife of the late Leoncio Colon. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on November 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Reyes Santiago-Ortiz and Rosa Maria Hernandez-Santiago.
Maria loved music and cooking. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved her family and always had a song to sing. She will be loving remembered for her big smily, her laughter and her singing.
Maria leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Miguel Angel Soto-Santiago, Carlos Luis Soto-Santiago and wife Kimberly Soto, Rodney Soto-Santiago and wife Rebecca Soto, Danny Soto-Santiago and wife Reyna Soto, Samuel Soto-Santiago; daughters, Mariely Soto-Santiago, Noemi Mendez and Marisol Oquendo; 20 grandchildren; 9 great grand children; sisters, Reyes Santiago-Hernandez and Wilfrida Santiago-Hernandez; brothers, Roberto Santiago-Hernandez and Angel Luis Santiago-Hernandez; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Benjamin Santiago-Hernandez.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. at The Well Worship Center, 155 S Hartley Street, York, PA 17401. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Maria's family would like to thank the nurse's and aids at Pleasant Acres for taking care of and loving Maria. Especially Noemi Mendez and Marisol Oquenco who became like family.
