Patricia Ann Grimes, 69, entered into rest on May 5, 2022 at York Hospital. Born on November 2, 1952 in Bamberg, SC to Mabel (Kinard) Grimes and the late James Grimes, Sr.
Patricia enjoyd crafting, making flower arranagements, playing cards, going to cookouts, and playing pool. Whenever she met somebody new, she always gave them a nickname. Patricia was known as the life of the party. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her mother, Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, son, Eugene Grimes and wife Tanya; sister, Vanessa Jones and husband Gregory; brothers, Darryl Grimes and wife Michelle and Trevor Grimes and companion Mashayla Caliborne; grandchildren, Martika Quinones (Jerry, Jr.) and Mariah and Maky'a Grimes; great-grandchildren, Christian Quinones and Aaron Batty, Jr.; and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. Pastor Adrian Boxley will be officiating. Visitation will be held prior from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
