Penny Sue (Kline) Raynes of York passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at York Hospital after a battle with COPD. Born January 25, 1961, in York, she was the daughter of Jacob and Deanie Kline of Manchester, PA.
Penny went to Northeastern School District. Penny was married to her husband Edward Raynes for 30 years. They have a son Andrew and daughter-in-law, Ashley. Penny has a sister Anna Mae Brugger of Northampton, PA, a sister, Deanna Kline of Aurora, CO, a brother, Patrick Kline of York, PA, and a sister, Betty Michalak, and husband Walter Michalak Sr, of Dover, PA.
Penny loved to cook when she was able. She loved to play games on her phone to pass the time.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 8 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St York Pa. Pastor Steven Small will be officiating the service. A viewing will be held before the service from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations towards the funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be given to Penny's sister Betty Michalak.
