Richard L. Sweitzer, 39, passed away August 21, 2024. Born May 3, 1985, in York, PA. He was the son of Dickie Sweitzer and Teresa Campbell.
Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Dickie Seitzer and Teresa Campbell; step-parents, Brenda Sweitzer, and Eddie Campbell; siblings, Naomi Sweitzer, Curvin Sweitzer, Dickie Sweitzer; nieces, Sabrina Sweitzer, Rose Sweitzer; nephews, Denver Sweitzer, Curvin Sweitzer.
Richard had a deep love for camping, where he cherished spending quality time with his family amidst nature. He was an avid football fan, proudly supporting the Dallas Cowboys, and his enthusiasm for the sport was infectious to those around him. Richard's love for the outdoors and sports brought joy to his life and created lasting memories with his loved ones. He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, laughter, and the cherished moments he shared with family and friends.
A viewing will be held Thursday August 29, 2024 from 10 a.m to 12 noon with friends and family speaking at 12 noon. The viewing will be at the Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc. 822 East Market Street, York, PA 17403. Burial will be immediately following the service at Saint Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery 2666 Furnace Rd, Felton, PA 17322.
