Rigoberto Torres Vazquez age 74 of 200 N. Duke St. Apt. 208 in York, Pa passed away on March 1, 2024.
Rigoberto known to some people as Rigo or Robert was born on September 18, 1949 to Marino Torres and Anastacia "Ana" Vazquez in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico.
In 1973 Rigoberto met Sandra Perez in New York. Rigoberto and Sandra went on to have 5 children, Luz Delvalle, Sonia Perez-Fulp, Rigoberto Jr. Perez and Marisol Torres. He was preceded by his daughter, Carmen Y. Perez. Rigoberto and Sandra went on to marry on April 12, 1986.
Rigoberto loved spending his time fishing, watching wrestling, playing dominoes, and spending time with family and friends. He had a great heart and always enjoyed making people laugh.
Rigoberto was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Torres, parents, Marino Torres and Anastacia Vazquez; brothers, Domingo Torres Vazquez, Bernardo Torres Vazquez, Carlos Torres Vazquez, and Samuel Torres Vazquez; sisters, Digna Torres Vazquez, Norma Torres Vazquez, and Maria Torres Vazquez.
Rigoberto is survived by his sisters, Luz E, Ana B, and Ada; nieces, Maria Gonzalez and Iris Torres; daughter, Luz Delvalle and son-in-law, Marcus Day; daughter, Sonia Perez-Fulp and son-in-law, Kevin Fulp; son, Rigobert Jr. Perez and daughter-in-law, Alicia Tawney; daughter, Marisol Torres and son-in-law, Vaughn Mattison; grandchildren, Vanessa Valentin, Dominique Valentin, Carlos Valentin III, Moises Valentin, Shavonta Perez, Kevon Fulp, Onjae Mattison, Alexander Perez, Lorenzo Perez, Alexia Perez, Arabella Martinez, Jasmin Torres, Narada Derrick, and Giana Mattison. Rigoberto is also survived by a host of nieces and 7 great-grandchildren.
His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound. It is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who love him deeply. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.
Services will be held at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St York Pa on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow afterward at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
