Robert E. Mummert, Sr., 74, passed away April 11, 2026. He was the spouse of the late Diane L. (Sweitzer) Mummert. Born on May 4, 1951 in York, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence D. and Betty P. Mummert.

Robert graduated from York Vo-Tech. He was a janitor at St. Matthew's Church leading up to his passing.
Robert enjoyed bowling and wrestling. He also loved to fish. Robert was a passionate fan of NASCAR, his favorite driver was Tony Stewart. Robert will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory children, Robert E. Mummert, Jr., Ashley Mummert and fiance Andrew Raynes and Dorothy Deamer; brother, Eugene "Butch" Weitkamp; niece, Stephanie Mummert; nephew, Eddie Sweitzer; great niece Courtney Bostdorf; and sister in law, Diane Mummert. He was preceded in death by brothers, Curtis Mummert and Daniel W. Mummert, Sr.; mother in law, Patricia Kohler; John Payne; nephew, Daniel W. Mummert, Jr.; sister in law, Jeanette Acworth and her husband Ken Acworth; brother in law, Daniel Sweitzer; and his beloved dog, Maggie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
