Ronald C. Carstetter, Jr, 61, entered into rest on March 21, 2023, in York surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Tammy Carlinda Carstetter.
Born on August 29, 1961, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ronald C. and Betty L. (Wagner) Carstetter. Ronald worked as a mechanic and detailer for 15 years at Renn Kirby Chevrolet Buick. He was the past president of Gettysburg Eagles.
Ronald loved his dogs and all animals. He was known for having a countdown to spring because it was always his favorite season.
In addition to his wife, Tammy, Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, April Carstetter of McSherrystown and fiance, Robert Kiser; son, Ronald Carstetter III of Gettysburg and wife, Whitney Carstetter; step-daughter, Christina Withrow of Spokane Washington; step-son Robert Withrow of Spokane Washington and wife, Jennie; grandchildren, Alyssa Carstetter of Gettysburg, Emmett Gerrald of McSherrystown, Declan Carstetter of Gettysburg, Dakoda Shaffer of Gettysburg, Kaylin Small of Spokane Washington, and Odd Small of Spokane Washington; great-grandson, Tobias of Gettysburg; sister, Patti Kirkner of Waynesboro; mother of his children, Hope Zahornacky of Beaufort SC; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Carstetter of Gettysburg.
