Ruth A. Smith, 90, passed away August 20, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Freeman R. Smith. Born in York, PA on November 28, 1935, she was the son of the late Earl and Edna Mansberger.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Randy Smith and wife Pam, Deb Groff and husband Ken, Warren Smith and wife Brenda and Richard Smith and wife Vickie; and a many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Leonard.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 4190 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Schutt officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Quickels Church Cemetery.
