Sharon Ann (Miller) Seiler, 78, of York, departed for heaven on Saturday, August 29th. She was the loving wife of David C Seiler for the past 54 years.

Born on March 6, 1948, Sharon was the daughter of the late Richard L and Derethea F (Wilderson) Miller. She was a 1966 graduate of York Suburban and a 1970 graduate of Millersville University. She taught eighth grade English in the Eastern York School District for 29 years before retiring in 1999. Sharon enjoyed being with family and friends, bowling, Notre Dame football, Disney, Neil Diamond and more recently, the television show Outlander.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is also survived by her daughter, Jennifer L Seiler of York; her sister, Cathy A Fornoff of York; her brother, Lee R Miller of York; 3 nephews, Dwane Rahaley of Saylorsburg, Jason L Fornoff of York, and Justin L Miller of Denver, CO; sister in law, Deanna E Seiler of San Pedro, CA; brothers in law, Robert D Seiler and wife Susan of Dover, MA and James K Seiler and wife Karol of Ocoee, FL. She is also survived by a plethora of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Sullivan, and her brothers in law, Raymond Sullivan and Charles R Fornoff.

Per her wishes, Sharon will be cremated and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, she asked that either an act of kindness be completed and/ or a donation be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
