Victor J. Kornbau, 81, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. Born October 18, 1943, in Red Lion, PA. He was the son of the late Lloyd Kornbau and Dora(Landis)Kornbau.
Victor was a cherished member of his community, known for his warm smile and generous spirit. He had a passion for bowling, and often spent his free time enjoying the great outdoors fishing and hunting. In addition to his hobbies, Victor was an avid baseball fan, finding joy in watching games and supporting his favorite team.
Victor leaves many to cherish his memory, including, his sons, Brian J. Kornbau, and Daryl M. Kornbau; grandchildren, Mason, Chelsea, and Caitlyn; his siblings, Marilyn Leiphart, Mary Ann Matthews, Naomi Folcomer, Adalyn Eberly. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Gay L.(Aughenbaugh)Kornbau; his siblings, Grace Gray, Carol Ann Kornbau, Llyod A. Kornbau, and Elmer Kornbau.
A viewing will be held Tuesday November 19, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc. 822 East Market Street York, PA 17403. The service will start at 12 noon followed by the burial at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens immediately after. In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
