Wendy S. (Wagner) Gladfelter, 63, entered into rest on November 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Lionel K. Gladfelter.
Born on March 8, 1960 in York, she was the daughter of Roger and Hazel (Brenneman) Wagner.
Wendy worked as a bus driver for F&S and as a hostess at the Goldsboro Fireman's Club. She liked to have her hands in the dirt, always tending to her flower gardens. Wendy loved animals, especially her boxers and birds. Her beloved boxer, Noelle, passed away just six hours after her. Wendy was an adventurer, she enjoyed going for car rides, finding new places to eat, and going on roller coasters.
In addition to her husband, Lionel, and parents, Wendy leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Zach Gladfelter and wife, Shawnee, and Colin Gladfelter; brother, Wade Wagner and wife, Tina; sister, Lori Clipp, and husband, Rob; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Wagner II.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
