Ruth I. Toomey, 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Rest Haven, York. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Toomey, Sr. for over 64 years until after his death in 2012. 
Born on October 3, 1930 in York Co., she was the daughter of Ester and Paul Warner. 
Ruth is survived by five of her children, Shirely Rang of Red Lion, Charles W. Toomey, Jr and wife Barb of York, Terry Toomey of Manchester, Sharon Manning and husband Jeff of Alabama and Paul Toomey and wife Cricket of Manchester; eleven grandchildren, Patrick Rang of Mt. Wolf, Amie Bootier, Kim Creighton, Jessica Toomey, all of Red Lion, David Walker, Adam Walker, Derrick Toomey and Nicole Quigley all of York, Melissa Manning and Emeline Ramon,both of Alabama and Jeffrey Manning of Ireland; fifteen great-grandchildren, PJ, Tyler, Liberty, Cruz, Aiden, Vivian, Isaiah, Lola, Jackson, Siearra, Shepard, Pasiley, Rose, Elaura and Theo. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Toomey, Sr. and daughter, Deb Walker. 
She was a believer in Christ, attended Greater Grace Church, Manchester and enjoyed spending summers in Chincoteague Island, VA, shopping and going to yard sales. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date followed by a graveside cremation ceremony at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

October 3, 1930 - December 13, 2022

Ashley N. Bixler, 36, passed away on November 19, 2022 at York Hospital with her family by her side. She was the loving fiance of Scott A. Fulton. 
Born on March 20, 1986 in York, she was the daughter of Neal E. and Kathy A. (Swords) Bixler. Ashley graduated from York VoTech with a degree in graphic arts. 
In addition to her fiance, Scott and parents, Neal and Kathy; Ashley leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gabriel Fulton; and a host of family and friends. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. Pastor Ricky McCarl will be officiating the service. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Burial will take place immeidately after the service at Suburban Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.

Ashley N. Bixler

March 20, 1986 - November 19, 2022

Joyce F. (Inch) Rohrbaugh, 69, entered into rest on November 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Rohrbaugh whom she shared 37 years with before his passing on November 2, 2022. 
Born on July 21, 1953 in Sunburry, she was the daughter of the late Marlin E. Inch, Sr. and Mae Belle (Benner) Inch. She worked as a cashier for over 20 years at Weis Markets. 
Joyce enjoyd going on vaction and playing games with her family. She also liked attending gospel concerts and playing bingo. Joyce was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 
Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Ricky Rohrbaugh (Ashleigh) and Scott Carter (Dana); five grandchildren, Arynne, Kristi, Kyle, Brandon and Benjamin; five great grandchildren, Brently, Waylon, Wayne, Ashlyn and Lakyn; siblings, Marlin Inch (Ida), Carson Inch (Jeanie), Leon Inch (Sally) and John Inch (Denise); sister-in-law, Shirley Inch; brother-in-law, Richard Hughes; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Inch and Gene Inch; sister, Carrie Hughes; sister-in-law, Faith Inch. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Parkville Bible Church, 800 Whisler Rd, Goldsboro, Pa 17319. Pastor Frank Heidler will be officiating. A viewing will be held prior from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to Parkville Bible Church. Joyce F. (Inch) Rohrbaugh

July 21, 1953 - November 18, 2022

Craig A. Shirey, 49, entered into rest unexpectedly on November 16, 2022. 
Born on December 6, 1972 in York, he was the son of the late Robert A. Shirey and Katherine (Craig) Hall. He was a respected Tree Climber and was well known across York County for his skills. Craig will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 
Craig leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Craig Robert McCaa of Manchester; a daughter, Caylyn Marie Shirey of Spring Grove; his beloved dogs, Chunk and Frankie; and a host of family and friends. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York Pa. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.

December 6, 1972 - November 16, 2022

Shaela F. Bolen, 31, entered into rest unexpectedly on November 8, 2022. Born on November 12, 1990 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Donald L. Bolen, Jr. and Marcey J. Avery and step parents, Phyllis Bolen and David Adams. 
In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, three loving daughters, MaKenzie McDaniel, Savannah Fissel and LilyAnn Bailey; siblings, Samantha J. Beard, Paige M. Bolen, Stacey Kline and Daniel King; grandparents, Gary L. Avery and Sandra C. Avery; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jean Bolen and Donald Bolen, Sr. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1p.m. - 3 p.m. at Parkville Bible Church, 800 Whisler Road, Goldsboro (Etters) Pa. In honor of Shaela, please wear red and black. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.

November 12, 1990 - November 8, 2022.

Matthew Michael Schultz, 45, of York, Pennsylvania, entered into the kingdom of heaven to be with his Lord on October 24, 2022. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, proud uncle, and a loyal friend. He leaves behind his parents, Vernon and Sue Schultz, a grandmother, Lois Schultz,  sisters Stephanie Horst and Jessica Quick, brothers Nathan Schultz and Kevin Thoman, four nephews,  and a niece.
Matthew was a 1995 graduate of Northern High School, and later attended classes at HACC. He then went on to be a long-time respected member of the food service industry. “Son,” as he was lovingly referred to by some of his closest friends, enjoyed coin collecting, driving cars, listening to music loudly, engaging in spirited debates, and telling colorful stories that sometimes "pushed the envelope” of being offensive.  Most of all though, Matthew loved talking and spending time with his family and friends. His unforgettable laughter, loyalty, and kindness will be missed by many.
Matthew's family will hold a private service at a time of their choosing, and ask for privacy during this time of grieving.

Matthew Michael Schultz

December 7, 1976 - October 24, 2022

Henry J. Rohrbaugh, 73, passed away unexpectedly November 2, 2022 at York Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Joyce Rohrbaugh.  Born in York New Salem on February 19, 1949, he was the son of the late William and Edna Rohrbaugh, Sr.  
Henry proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Harley Davidson after 38 years and enjoyed traveling and going on vacation with his family. Henry also enjoyed playing games with his family and going to classic car shows. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.  Henry will be greatly missed by his family.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory his wife Joyce; two sons, Ricky Rohrbaugh (Ashleigh) and Scott Carter (Dana); five grandchildren, Arynne, Kristi, Kyle, Brandon and Benjamin; five great grandchildren, Brently, Waylon, Wayne, Ashlyn and Lakyn; sister, Nancy Zumbrum (Marlin); brother in law, Marlin Miller; sister in law, Janice Rohrbaugh; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.   He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Rohrbaugh, Jr. and Larry Rohrbaugh; and sister, Patsy Miller.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Parkville Bible Church, 800 Whisler Rd, Goldsboro, Pa 17319. Pastor Frank Heidler will be officiating. A viewing will  be held prior from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.  Burial will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Noelia Negron, 75, entered into rest on November 3, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Jose Negron. 
Born on April 22, 1947 in Ponce, PR, she was the daughter of the late Enrique Serrano and Esperanza Martinez. 
Noelia worked for over 21 years at York Hospital as a house keeper. She was a devoted member of the Jehovah Witness Church.  Noelia enjoyed gardening and loved cooking for her family.  
Noelia leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Lizette Negron, Jose Negron Jr. and Fabian Negron; sisters, Iris Oyola and Gloria Serrano; grandchildren, Daniel Weir, Jonathan Weir and Jazmyne Negron; great grandchildren, Aria and Lea; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Negron and sister, Nora Torres.

Noelia Negron

April 22, 1947 - November 3, 2022

Brian E. Landis, 50, entered into rest on October 31, 2022. He was the loving husband of Virginia (Sandoval) Landis. 
Born on May 4, 1972 in Tachikawa, Japan, he was the son of John E. Landis and the late Mariko (Inoue) Landis. Brian attended high school on the Yokota Air Base. He worked as a forklift operator for A. Duie Pyle Trucking Co. Brian was an avid car enthusiast. He loved watching stand-up comedy and especially action movies. 
Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Virginia Landis; father, John E. Landis; son, Brandon E. Landis; brother, Keith A. Landis. Additionally, he had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.

Brian E. Landis

May 4, 1972 - October 31, 2022

Elizabeth Joyce Packard, 89, flew to heaven on the wings of an angel to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.  She is now reunited with her husband Ward Packard, to whom she was married 34 years. They raised their family in Media, Pennsylvania.  
Born January 20th, 1933 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to the late Ethel (Rice) and Robert Schouck, Liz, then known as Betty, grew up in New Jersey with her beloved siblings Barbara (Schouck) Willitts and Robert Schouck, both of whom predeceased her. 
Liz loved visiting Hawaii, seeing how many shrimps she could eat at Red Lobster with her daughter, indulging in chocolate covered strawberries sent by her son and delighting in the company of her grandchildren. She was an accomplished painter and enjoyed a night out dancing in her youth.
She is survived by her son Robert Packard and wife Marilyn, daughter Beverly Pitzer and husband Maurice, son Scott Packard and wife Angela, as well as her grandchildren Jennifer, Annie, Michael, Sarah, Benjamin, Leonardo and Henry.

Elizabeth Joyce Packard

January 20, 1933 - October 26, 2022

Joan M. Runkle, 75, passed away unexpectedly October 24, 2022.  She was the loving wife of Theodore "Ted" Runkle.  Born in York, Pa on December 6, 1946, she was the daughter of the late David and Margurite (Keefer) Grapes. She was a graduate of York Catholic.
Joan loved doing taxes and did so for over forty years with H&R Block. After retiring from H&R Block, she branched out with her own tax business. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling with her husband, especially during the fall when the leaves are so beautiful.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Joan leaves to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband Ted, nephew Jeff Runkle who was like a son to her and his wife Kim; five brother in laws, Joe Runkle, Jesse Runkle, Charles Runkle, Kenneth Runkle and Michael Runkle, Sr.; two sister in laws, Judy Buhrman and Dorothy Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Runkle; in laws, Elmer and Christina Runkle; two brother in laws, David Runkle, Jr. and Edward Runkle; and aunt and uncle Cal and Charlotte Keefer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Osmany Espinosa officiating at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc.  A visitation will be held prior from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  A luncheon will be held at Zion View Community Center following the service. Carolyn Joyce (Danner) Poe, 74, entered into rest on October 22, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Larry E. Poe, Sr. Born on April 15, 1948 in Wellsville, she was the daugher of the late Millard W. and Geraldine (Smith) Danner. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Russel Danner, Gene Danner and wife Sandra and Ellen Jenkins; nineteen nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and her dear friends Lori and Keith Melhorn, who called her "mom". She was preceded in death by her son, Larry E. Poe, Jr.; brother, William Danner, Sr.; sisters, Elsie M. Kitner and Ruthann Fahnestock.
