Nora G. Sharp
Nora Gene Sharp, 19 months, of Red Lion earned her angel wings on Sunday, November 4th at 11:03 p.m. In her short time on this Earth, Nora touched the lives of so many. She was well loved by the NICU staff who cared for her when she was born prematurely, by the many early intervention therapists who marveled at her ability to hit milestones before anticipated, and by strangers who were blessed enough to see her contagious smile or hear her infectious laugh.
Nora loved bedtime stories, listening to music and dancing. She made the funniest faces and loved making people laugh. She was the center of attention in any room she entered. She was a "daddy's girl" but had her mother's big heart. She was the perfect combination of her loving parents as she inherited the best of both of them.
Nora is survived by her parents, David and Carissa Sharp, also of Red Lion, as well as a large extended family who loved and cherished her. She was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Rick "Poppy" Crone, also of Red Lion.
Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 11th at Friendship Community Church in Dover, Pa. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. A reception and fellowship will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made in Nora's name to York Hospital NICU Parent Support of York. PA, and mail them to Sue Johnson, 230 Charles Circle, York PA 17406.
