Charles M. Halcott, Jr.

    Charles Michael Halcott, Jr., 76, of Manchester, passed away January 21, 2019.  He was the husband of Sandra L. (Westfall) Halcott.  Born on May 16, 1942 in Maryland, he was the son of Mary (Crouse) Halcott and the late Charles M. Halcott, Sr.   Charles  served our country in the Army and worked as a fork lift mechanic.  He was also a Teamster Local 430 Union Steward.

    Charles leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his loving wife and mother, four sons, Shawn Halcott, Charles Horn, Vince Murphy and Michael Murphy; a daughter, Christina Shirey; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. 

    A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Fourth United Methodist Church, 1067 E. Market Street, York, Pa 17403.  The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Military Honors will be performed by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.  The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jane Harrison and Pastor Charles Lindeman officiating.
