Donald John Gall

Donald John Gall, 74,of Manchester entered into the Presence of God on Friday, July 27, 2018 at his home. He was the loving husband of Rita Ann (Gallagher) Gall. Born on February 4, 1949,in Cresson, Pa.,he was the son of the late Virginia (Boylan) and John Gall. He was employed as a furnace repairman for Aero Oil and by Phillips 66 Garage. "Jings" as he was fondly known, was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church ,Manchester, and the Knights of Columbus.He was a Foster Father for Catholic Charities.

In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Charles Gall, a daughter, Rose Snyder, both of Manchester, a son-in-law,Brent Snyder, York; brothers, Frances Gall, John Gall of York; sisters,Diane Gallagher,of York Haven, Beverly Potter, of East Prospect, adopted grandchildren, Matthew Donald Shorts, Rebecca C.Shorts,fiance Andrew Lebo,; a great-grandchild,Sophia Lebo, all of Manchester and a Host of nieces and nephews.He was preceded by a son, John B. Gall and a great-granddaughter, Lacey Caroline Lebo.

A viewing will be from 10 -12 noon on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Gladfelter Funeral Home,Inc., 822 East Market St., York,Pa. The Prayer Service will begin at 12 noon with Deacon Joseph Cramer of Holy Infant Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, York.
