Harry Wilmot

     Harry Wilmot, 88, of Manchester, passed away September 9, 2019.  He was the husband of the late Catherine Grace (Cameron) Wilmot and the late Betty Mae (Burns) Wilmot.  Born on July 10, 1931 in Brockville, Ontario Canada, he was the son of the late William J. and Laura E. (Clark) Wilmot.  Harry proudly served our county In the United States Navy and served for twenty years in the United States Coast Guard.  

     Harry enjoyed collecting light houses, reading and traveling North to visit his family.  He looked forward to having coffee with his buddies and could often be found walking around Wall-Mart at one in the morning.  He will be greatly missed by his family.

     Harry leaves to cherish his memory four children, Rebecca Young of York, PA; Forrest Wilmot of Jacksonville, FL; Dawn Wilmot of York, Pa; and Shawn Wilmot of York, Pa;  sister, Ellie Cartwright of Brockville, Ontario Canada; brother, William Clark of Elliot Lake, Ontario Canada; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc.
