Ruth Ann (Snelbaker) Blair

Ruth Ann (Snelbaker) Blair, 65, passed away January 14, 2019.  Born in Dover, Pa on June 22, 1953, she was the daughter of Luther L. Snelbaker, Jr. and the late Violet Snelbaker.  Ruth loved her dogs and horses.  She was very passionate about rescue work and volunteered at the Purple Dog Rescue in Mechanicsburg.  

 

Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, in addition to her father, three children, son, Peter Emig, Jr., and daughters, Nancy Young and Joann Snelbaker; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Jelena, Jada, Tabitha, Peter III, Hailey and Cameron; two great grandchildren, Jenavive and Leila, and two more great grandchildren on the way; a brother, David Snelbaker; and a sister, Debra Monday.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Snelbaker.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 25, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street, York, Pa 17403.  The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Larry T. Walthour, II officiating.
