Tecoar P. Gilbert Jr.

Tecoar Prince Gilbert, Jr., 60, was called home by the Lord July 15, 2018 at the York Hospital. He was the companion of Kimberly Manning with whom he shared 18 years with. Born in York, Pa on April 14, 1958 he was the son of the late Myrtle and Tecoar P. Gilbert, Sr.

Tecoar enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to fish. In addition to his companion, Kimberly, he leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Tecoar P. Gilbert, III and fiance Sarah Dickmyer, Joshua Jamison, and Ry'Heim, all of York; step-daughter, Victoria Manning; siblings, Patricia, Debra, Mike, Anthony, Alan, all of York, Josie of SC, and Myrtle of MD; eight grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc, 822 E. Market Street York, Pa 17403. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with Reverend Adrian Boxley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.
