Selina Justine Bliss, age 42, passed away peacefully at her Dover home on December 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. 

Selina was born May 23, 1979, in York PA and was the daughter of Joyce (Senft) Ferree and the late Michael Bliss. 

     For twelve years, Selina worked as a manager and bartender at the Tourist Inn. Selina formed many friendships with patrons from all over. She had a special place in her heart for all those friendships. With her uplifting spirit, positive energy, and overall happy personality, it was not hard for those friendships to be built. Many appreciated those qualities about her, along with her quick wittedness and those hard truths when needed. Selina juggled working full time, raising her daughter, and maintaining a happy household. She was also an active member of the benefit committee at the Tourist Inn. Over the years she participated in fundraisers that have helped many people within the local community. 

     When Selina was able to carve a bit of time for herself, she enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the wildlife cross her property, taking photos, doing arts and crafts and gardening. Selina lived her life in the present moment and greatly appreciated every one of those moments.

      In addition to her mother, Selina is survived by her stepfather Leonard Ferree, her beloved Keith (Cheef) Kline and daughter Dharma Cabot; Two sisters, Jessica Bliss and husband Joe Filipelli of Dover and Kara (Bliss) Gurreri and husband Corey of York; seven nieces and four nephews. 

     A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Selina’s honor to the charity of your choice. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
